Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction, guidance, or companionship is a way for you to attend to your spiritual life with a trained confidential person.
Individual Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is a confidential, prayerful relationship in which a trained companion helps another person (the directee) discern and respond to God’s presence and movement in their daily life. Unlike counseling or coaching, which focus on solving problems or achieving goals, spiritual direction is not directive; the director does not give advice or dictate choices but instead practices attentive listening to help the directee recognize patterns, desires, and invitations from the Holy Spirit.
Group Spiritual Direction
Group spiritual direction is a contemplative practice where a small group of individuals gathers regularly to assist one another in becoming more aware of God’s presence and movement in their daily lives. It is distinct from therapy, Bible study, or counseling, focusing instead on spiritual formation and deep, prayerful listening to discern divine guidance.
Supervision
Are you a spiritual director already? Looking for someone to guide you into being a better spiritual director? Supervision gives you a safe place to share how you receive and give direction to others. The focus in on you and how you are feeling and doing spiritual direction not on your directee relationships.
Classes, Retreats, and Workshops
Retreats
Retreats are time away with God and others to find some silence, solace, and sacred space. They are a place to grow closer with the Divine through scripture, worship, and fellowship. I can design a special retreat for your Administrative Body, Women’s or men’s group, Sunday School class or the entire church. I love to delve into the scriptures and make them come alive for All God’s People. We focus on transformation of the spirit in a retreat.
Workshops
Do you have a group that wants to learn how to pray? Or perhaps learn more about the Four Teresa’s (mystics through the ages) or Julian of Norwich or Hildegard or the Celtic saints (and many more wonderful topics)? Perhaps your church wants to explore a new calling and how they will live that out? I am glad to come and bring more information on these and other topics. We focus on information of the spirit in a workshop.
Labyrinth Walks
Labyrinths are places to walk and pray. You find them all over the world and they have been around for thousands of years. There is one path in and one path out. Great meditative tool. I have a 24 ft canvas labyrinth I can bring to your setting or teach you how to use finger labyrinths for journaling and meditation.
Classes 2027 :
Prayer: try something new
This four week class will introduce you to ways to pray beyond the 'Our Father' and intercessory prayer. Come learn Lectio Divina, centering prayer, breath prayer, and prayer journaling with the finger labyrinth. We will focus on one each week for an hour. Wednesdays on zoom from 7-8 pm: Feb. 3, (break for Ash Wednesday) 17, 24 and March 3rd.
Early enrollment on or before January 10th: $50
Standard enrollment last day is Feb. 1st: $60
Mary Magdalene, the woman, the disciple and the apostle
Tuesday nights from 7 – 8:30 pm on zoom (EST)
Classes will meet: April 13th, 20th, 27th and May 4, 11th.
Join me for a deeper look at Mary Magdalene one of Jesus’ closest friends. Vilified by the Church as a prostitute and also proclaimed an apostle there is a lot of history in her identity and her place in Jesus’ life and in the Church today. We will dip into the scriptures, her Church history, and current new thoughts on her role today.

Labyrinth Walks:
Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2027 is an excellent time to have the labyrinth out with a nice Lenten devotion to kick off Lent properly. You may reserve for two hours or leave it open for the whole day. Please contact me for times and availability.
Lenten Labyrinth walks: Invite me to come and set up my 24 foot canvas labyrinth and create a special time of prayer and contemplation of your Lenten focus. Having the labyrinth open is a great way to celebrate Holy Week:

Are you looking for a way to reinvigorate your United Women of Faith group? Do you want to bring all your woman of all ages together? In these troubled days are you looking for a way to Remember – Reconnect – Refresh – Renew? This retreat is a great way to begin the New Year.
In my effort to live out my passion to help God’s people (laity and clergy) have a solid spiritual grounding, I offer up this six-hour retreat designed to do all of the above.
This retreat is based on John 4’s woman at the well and her encounter with Jesus who is the Living Water. Throughout our time together we will learn new prayer practices and delve ever deeper into the meaning of this passage as we seek to drink that Living Water. Also included are a time with prayer stations and with other Biblical women to show us how they walked with and followed Jesus.
